The Goat Who Knew the Secret Name of God

A village was suffering. There was no rain, the crops failed, and the cattle were dying. The village chief, a devout man, prayed and prayed, but nothing happened. He called all the wise men and diviners, but none could help. One day, his youngest daughter was playing with her small pet Goat when she heard it bleating a strange and beautiful sound, a name she had never heard before. She went to her father and told him. The chief, desperate, decided to try anything. He went before the people and, instead of his usual prayers, he spoke the secret name the Goat had bleated. As soon as the name was spoken, the sky opened and a gentle, life-giving rain began to fall. The people learned that day that wisdom and connection to the divine do not always come from the powerful and the wise, but can be found in the voice of the most humble and overlooked creatures. The goat, a simple, domestic animal, became a symbol of this hidden, sacred knowledge.
