Gizo and the Donkey Who Excreted Gold
Gizo the Spider heard a rumour about a magical Donkey that, instead of dung, excreted gold coins. He went to the old woman who owned it and, through a series of clever tricks, managed to trade his own worthless donkey for the magical one. Gizo was overjoyed and took the Donkey home. To show off, he invited the whole village, including the chief, for a demonstration. He laid down a fine cloth and commanded the Donkey to perform. The Donkey, however, was just an ordinary donkey and produced only ordinary dung. Gizo was deeply humiliated and became the laughingstock of the village. He later discovered that the rumour was a trick started by his rival, the Hyena, to make a fool of him. The story is a humorous cautionary tale about greed and the foolishness of believing in "get-rich-quick" schemes, a frequent lesson in the Gizo cycle of stories.
