The Hare and the Tortoise's Race

The Hare was the fastest runner in the kingdom and never missed a chance to boast about it. He constantly mocked the Tortoise for his slowness. One day, the Tortoise, tired of the insults, challenged the Hare to a race. The Hare laughed but accepted. All the animals gathered to watch. The race began, and the Hare shot off, leaving the Tortoise in a cloud of dust. Halfway through the race, the Hare was so far ahead that he decided he had time for a nap. He lay down under a tree and fell fast asleep. The Tortoise, meanwhile, just kept walking—slowly, steadily, and without stopping. He walked past the sleeping Hare. When the Hare finally woke up, he saw the Tortoise just about to cross the finish line. He ran as fast as he could, but it was too late. The slow and steady Tortoise had won the race. The story teaches a powerful lesson: talent is useless without discipline, and persistence will always beat arrogant laziness.
